Red's Army reaction to the Jeff Green compensation

  1. The NBA has granted Boston a 2013 second-round pick from Oklahoma City in a dispute over Jeff Green's medical condition, sources tell Y!
  2. By awarding the Celts a pick, the league concluded that OKC somehow screwed Boston in the deal.
  3. But how does a 2nd pick make up for a lost season? Especially on a team that nearly advanced to Finals?
  4. Sure, it's a minor transgression but so is speeding. Until you kill someone. How can the NBA not factor in the end result which ...
  5. ... is the loss of Jeff Green dramatically impacted the Celtics season. A 2nd round pick is a joke. It's like probation for manslaughter.
  6. so the league is telling us that OKC doctors knew of a heart condition, but apparently didn't tell OKC management about it?
  7. this is a pro athlete here. I don't believe in the least bit that a cardiologist would know about a condition, but not tell anyone
  8. Jeff Green's job inherently forces his heart to work hard. Any slightest issue being held out puts that player at risk
  9. If I'm being asked to believe that, then that doctor should be investigated & his medical license should be re-evaluated.
  10. I could take it a step further. If I'm Jeff Green, I consider suing that doctor for knowingly withholding info that cost him a full season
