Natalie Maines (FacebookTwitter), lead singer of the Dixie Chicks, returns with her debut new solo album, Mother on Tuesday, May 7th.  This will not be a clone of the Dixie Chicks signature sound that the best-selling female group of all time created, but more influenced by the more rock-based, edgy and intense sound of title track, and Pink Floyd cover, "Mother".  Maines teamed up with friend and Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and guitar wizard Ben Harper, who co-produced the record with Maines.  All of the album’s 10 songs  on Columbia Records were selected because of personal connections to Natalie.  For more information, visit http://nataliemainesmusic.com/.
