Becky, this is what real Wiki vandalism looks like.
Sara Mayhew shows us what real Wiki vandalism looks like. UTC timestamps show Rebecca's page wasn't vandalized until hours after her claim.
- Citation please? Oh, BTW, was the vandalism signed by a Redditor? Let's go check........but before we do, let's check the UTC time stamp. Becky tweets her claim on Saturday, March 9th, 16:33hrs.
- It is noteworthy to mention that Wikipedia publishes all content under the UTC timezone.
- Well, there appears to be some editing to Becky's Wiki page just 5 hours before her claim of vandalism. Note the UTC timestamp being Saturday, March 9th, 11:34.
- Here's the proof contrary to Becky's claim that a "reddit" user fudged her Wiki page.
- So where is the vandalism prior to Becky's tweet on Saturday, March 9th, 16:33hrs? Quite simply, it's non existent.
- Coincidental edit mistake on @rebeccawatson wiki and she claims she's vandalised and attacked by reddit users. #fauxskeptic #provocateur
- Sara chimes in to state the obvious, and directs Becky to real examples of Wiki page vandalism.
Hey @rebeccawatson, THIS is called vandalism: http://pic.twitter.com/Cj9gC4LjBk- That's some nasty stuff there Sara. I wonder what Becky thinks of it? I'll go ask her.
- Rebecca didn't reply, as i can only imagine she's busy writing a new blogpost pointing to proof that the accused redditors did in fact modify her wiki page.
Well it looks like her trolling and baiting paid off. - Published Saturday March 9th 22:05 UTC.
Now, either Becky can take out James Randi's million dollar challenge for psychic abilities, or she trolled Reddit hoping to get a reaction like this to help her claim victim status. Oh, and of course more blog hits.
