I think it's about time I got me one a these jackets. Better late than never. If you asked me four years ago if I thought I would be where I am today athletically and academically, I'd probably say you were crazy. I battled through some of the worst times and made it out on the other end. Proud to be a member of the Notre Dame Monogram Club. I owe this honor to so many people, but I have to acknowledge one person in particular. It has been my goal, since I stepped foot on campus here at ND and heard about the varsity jacket and what it means to earn one, to get the jacket for my father. He's an ND grad c/o '65, Irish fan and my biggest supporter. Tonight I asked him to wear the jacket and he told me that it was I and not he who had earned it. The truth is, he deserves it just as much as I do, because I wouldn't have it without him. It fits him too, albeit a little snug, but it fits, and so it's ours to share. Thanks Dad. And thanks again to everyone who got me here!
