Legends show the beat goes on at Long Beach Jazz Festival
Thousands of people grooved to the sounds of The O'Jays, Stanley Clarke, Gladys Knight and more at the 26th annual Long Beach Jazz Festival over the weekend. The three-day jazz celebration kicked off Aug. 9 at Rainbow Lagoon Park.
- For many, the day was not only a celebration of jazz but almost as spiritual as church.
- Even former NBA star (former Lakers player) Gary Payton made it out to the festival.
