A tornado struck Creston in Iowa's Union County at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012. The EF2 twister gouged across the northwest edge of town, damaging the local hospital and community college as well as people's homes. But no deaths resulted -- 11 months after a pair of tornadoes in nearby Lenox also spared all lives.
