Recap: January 2013 Philly Tech Meetup @ Quorum Science Center
Jan 9th: The Philly Tech community really represented! As the first meetup of 2013 and the TWO year anniversary of the Philly Tech Meetup group, it was an awesome night. Networking amongst local technologists followed by cool demos from some great startups: EssaySafe, Nooch, and Sportaneous.

These guys developed a software platform that keeps shady students from cheating on tests and exams. The integration of Google Docs was definitely a hit with the EdTech crowd.

- Next up was Nooch. They demoed their mobile app that allows folks that dont really keep cash to transfer money via a name or an email address. Guess not having cash is no longer an excuse, huh?

With 2013 upon us, seems like a good time as any to get in gear and get fit, right? Sportaneous is a mobile activity app that can hook you up with your local gyms and get you ripped. They're currently only featuring NYC gyms, but will eventually be in Philadelphia.
