Serious Discourse on the Internet
How does serious discourse work on Social Media? In short, it doesn't. It's an epic abyss of question begging, extremist ideology, ad hominems, and fallacy on fallacy on fallacy. In 140 character bursts, can there be any meaningful depth to a statement? Is everyone, at this level, just trolling?

- Adam Smith and Milton Friedman are the only philosophers allowed to philosophize because they are not philosophers and thus there are no readings of their philosophies which can result in harm.
- @LibertyLynx "You can philosophize, or you can choose not to philosophize, but you're going to philosophize." ~ Socrates
