Campaign 2012: Good reads for April 18

An abbreviated list today, but please feel free to post your own suggestions as comments to my blog: DesMoinesRegister.com/Obradovich

  1. Republican Party of Iowa co-chairman Bill Schickel met with reporters today on the process for reviewing and improving the caucuses in light of this year's errors and media criticism.  Here's a free PR tip for Schickel: Don't use the words "fiasco" and "clown show."
  2. The National Journal sees it as a hopeful sign for Iowa's continued political status that Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is headlining the Iowa GOP's Lincoln Dinner next month.
  3. In case you missed it:  Maybe this sheds some light on why Rick Santorum didn't endorse Mitt Romney as he dropped out of the race.
