World Series win: From celebration to chaos
Elation over the San Francisco Giants' World Series win gave way to shootings, bonfires and police in riot gear. Here's how it unfolded:
- Much of the chaos erupted in the city's Mission District. Hooligans felt compelled to set bonfires on the streets.

And this dude just ripped a parking meter out of the ground pic.twitter.com/rctKEZFEq8- Rowdy revelers faced off with police in riot gear. Officers were struck with bottles and fire crackers as they tried to disperse crowds and help firefighters extinguish bonfires, police said.
