  2. General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation and B Team Leader, Sharan Burrow moderated the session. She started off emphasising the importance of trust and transparency in creating equitable and healthy societies and businesses.
  3. Professor George Gyan-Baffour, Minister for Planning of the Republic of Ghana, delivered an address on behalf of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana. Professor Gyan-Baffour stressed the importance of tackling corruption to build strong democracies and economies.
  4. He detailed actions Ghana is taking to fight corruption, including committing to pass a Right to Information Bill, and working with OpenOwnership to build a public, open data register of beneficial ownership information.
  5. Unilever CEO and B Team Leader Paul Polman discussed the importance of restoring trust, which is the foundation for building successful businesses, and his company's most important asset.
  6. He emphasised the power of purpose-driven businesses, in which profits alone are no longer the sole measure of success, and values become as important as value. He also highlighted the tremendous economic opportunity within the Sustainable Development Goals, which businesses can use as a roadmap for shifting their operations, helping to create a world which is more equitable and fair.
