Edmonton reacts to new LRT names
The city announced names for the five current and future LRT lines Thursday, and not everyone was impressed with their originality.

City names LRT lines, grumbling follows
Alberta's spring budget will plunge the province $4 billion into the red, says a report issued Thursday by Moody's credit rating agency. ...- When the names were announced Thursday, the judgments came quick on social media.

I'm just going to call the new #yegtransit LRT lines by their terminus (heritage, stalbert, etc...) hope rest of #yeg does too.

@amvanimere given that each line has a colour on new LRT map, I suspect most people will use "blue line" instead of "Capital" for example

@tedgbauer Metro Line is garbage. Energy Line also lame. Valley doesn't go along the River Valley. Festival Line isn't near most festivals.
@tedgbauer How can a marketing company have so little imagination? Those shouldn't even have made it to the short list.
