Toronto Reacts To Gregg Zaun Apology

  1. Four days after being terminated by Sportsnet for "inappropriate behaviour and comments", former Toronto Blue Jay Gregg Zaun has offered an apology for his actions.
  2. "Without any exception whatsoever, I want to issue an absolute apology for any harm or distress which may have been caused by my comments with any female colleagues over the recent past. It has never been my intention to give offense to anyone." Zaun says in his apology.
  3. Sportsnet fired Zaun after it received complaints from female colleagues about Zaun's actions and comments. And while Zaun calls his statement an "absolute apology" , many still have mixed reactions on his statement.
  4. Many were highly critical of Zaun's apology statement specifically for Zaun suggesting that his actions should have been pointed out beforehand or for a lack of sincerity. There were a few who respected Zaun's courage to make a public statement instead of staying hidden.
