  3. Brett - Thanks for being with us today. Can you tell people a little about yourself? #clus
  4. Hi everyone. I'm a Sr. Mgr. within Cisco IT. We manage the mobile #BYOD deployment globally #Cisco. We support >52,000 devices. #clus
  5. @bbelding @ciscolive Brett, what mix of mobile devices do you see? Is it more phones? Or is the majority tablet devices? #CLUS
  6. @networkingnerd @ciscolive #CLUS A big mix, everything BYOD. About 20% tablets (iPad mostly), 40% iPhone, 20% Android, 20% BlackBerry.
  7. @bbelding @ciscolive Are those devices pure BYOD managed by something like ISE? Or more like IBM's model of mgmt? #CLUS
  8. @networkingnerd #CLUS We manage with ISE, MDM, ActiveSync, and BES. Solution depends on location and device.
  9. @contraducktory #CLUS ISE and NCS help us understand what devices are on our network and whose they are. It helps mitigate risk.
  10. @contraducktory #CLUS More important is defining what risk you need to mitigate via technology and what via policy only. Tell ISE what to do
  11. @bbelding Did you have a significant increase in network utilization with your BYOD? #clus
  12. @contraducktory #clus In general, apps drive utilization. We're rapidly expanding our internal app catalog across platforms.
  13. Which is your most popular session at Cisco Live? #clus
  14. @CiscoLive #CLUS Most popular so far is IT Management ITMGEN-4638. I'm presenting with Art King from Nike on Consumerization.
  15. @CiscoLive #CLUS Most popular general session is PNLSEC-4006 which is a #BYOD panel with 3 Cisco customers, Cisco IT, and Cisco Engineering
  16. Apparently I've put everyone to sleep on the #CLUS tweet chat. Did you know we added 1500 new iPads in the first 4 weeks this year?
  17. @CiscoLive @bbelding Do you see the panel and customer focus sessions at #CLUS as the best way to talk about BYOD challenges?
  18. Our #BYOD iPhone population grew 478% in two years, crossing the 21,000 device mark in March 2012. #CLUS
  19. @networkingnerd #CLUS Those are great. You can DM me and we can meet up there. @CIscoIT also has a booth with production #BYOD devices
  20. @bbelding Hi Brett, so we know that the JabberVideo (MOVI Client) is going to be released for IOS , any eta for android platform? #CLUS
  21. @ignitecsg #clus Can't comment on that, unfortunately. Jabber VoIP on Android is out now though!
  22. @bbelding fair enough. Thanks anyways. Will definitely be exciting when Jabber Video is active across all mobile platforms! #CLUS
  23. @ignitecsg #clus You're welcome. I love my Galaxy Nexus and am looking forward to Jabber Video on it too!
