On September 12th, @Circleof6app joined @WomensMediaCntr in hosting a #sheparty chat about women in tech & #tech4good. We wanted to know: what changes when women are doing the coding? How can tech help bring communities together? And what does it mean to use #tech4good?

  2. First, we wanted to know: how does tech change when women are involved in a hands-on way? How does the world change?

  7. Diverse opinions always make for better products. Women should codebc our insight is invaluable + unique. And not just 4 women! #sheparty

  14. We put up FB ad 4 our app, unprecedented #s of women clicked, but no men. They don't think abt it so can't develop it--so we will! #sheparty

  16. Community support is key! #sheparty tweeters share the women in tech they're inspired by the most:

  20. I'm so glad awesome orgs/groups like @GITnyc and @girldevelopit are becoming more common. We need to support each other! #sheparty
  21. But in order for women to enter #tech4good, we need to create opportunities for them to do so. What does it mean to be "in tech," and how can girls who are interested get there?
