The Story Of Spokane Hoopfest 2012
The world's largest 3-on-3 tournament took place this weekend. The 23rd edition of Spokane Hoopfest was bigger & better than ever with over 7,000 teams competing. Despite heat or rain, twisted ankles or broken bones, athletes of all kinds fought hard for the title of champion.
Friday Festivities: The Waiting & The Beginning
Friday: Jamal Crawford (Raw Video)
- Jamal Crawford joined Patchin, Lukens and Osso (along with Vince Grippi) on the show Friday, live from Riverfront Park. Crawford talked about the NBA, his current situation (opting out of his contract recently) as well as his APLUS Seattle Charity Classic which was held on Saturday night at the Spokane Arena.
Friday: Martell Webster (raw video)
- Former Washington Husky, Martell Webster, also joined the show. Webster was in town for Crawford's basketball game. A brief snippet of his time on the show.
Friday: Jeremy Pargo
- Last but not least, Jeremy Pargo joined the show.
And when the Friday downtown work day was over, the Hoopfest volunteers (and then some) began the huge task of preparing the courts.
