E3 2015: Dogout 4
Bethesda launches Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Fallout Shelter and Doom 4 in a surprisingly game-focused E3 press conference.
In the first press conference of the week, Daniel Rosen begins the Bethesda press conference by making some salient predictions.
- We then kick the show off with the teenage fantasy you wanted in 1993. Instead we've discovered it now, 20 years too late. Behold the DOOM.
- Then host Pete Hines, VP of Marketing, transitioned into talking about their new social map-building tool, Doom Snapmap. Not to be confused with the social media platform with a similar name.
- Peter Hines returns to the stage to briefly discuss Bethesda.Net, which is everything you love about game publisher-branded online stores, but with the Elder Scrolls. I hope you like collecting Zenni towards your new BattleCry avatar. BattleCry briefly crosses the stage to pled that it is not in fact Team Fortress 2. It's a arena deathmatch class-based combat game where you run into each other very quickly. Still not convinced it's not also Overwatch and Battleborn. Forget about all that though, because Daniel Rosen became vibrating in excitement for the next announcement.
- The conference then shifted to talk about Bethesda's massively multiplayer online game, Elder Scrolls Online, which is coming to a home console near you.
