GNI’s Principles: The GNI Principles establish a framework to provide direction to ICT companies on freedom of expression and privacy. Participating companies commit to seek to avoid or minimise the impact of government restrictions on the freedom of expression and privacy rights of their users when confronted by government demands inconsistent with international standards. Participating companies implement the Principles by adopting responsible policies, procedures, and processes.
