It's The AOPA Parade of Planes!

This is a sight you don't see very often -- a series of planes traveling under their own power from Palm Springs International Airport to the Palm Springs Convention Center. Below is coverage of this unique event from the perspective of the attendees. Enjoy!

    Well, these aircraft and about 80 more will be in the Parade of Planes here in Palm Springs. Tune in and watch live as Tom Haines and I provide commentary from 10 AM - Noon (PDT). It is a something to behold and brings out thousands of aviators and enthusiasts as we get ready to open the 2012 AOPA Aviation Summit.
