The morning: A visit to Clarence House for our finalists
UK, international and sustainable travel finalists meet Ashden Patron His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at Clarence House. It's nice to see this twitter plug from Keith Jones of the National Trust Wales for fellow finalist Mike Roberts of iDE/Hydrologic. Mike's team are selling affordable water filters to Cambodia's poor, so protecting their health and Cambodia's precious forests.Excitement builds...

The 12th Ashden Award Ceremony starts
As always, the Ceremony is introduced by Sarah-Butler Sloss, Ashden's Founder Director, who then hands over to host Anna Ford. We are also delighted that writer and broadcaster Kevin McCloud has agreed to present the awards to our UK winners. Here's what he said:UK winners announced

Sustainable travel winners announced
Car-sharing website Liftshare set up by Ali Clabburn and Ghent City Council are the two winners of the first ever Eurostar Ashden Award for Sustainable Travel. International winners announced
And they are: GIZ/Integration (Afghanistan), SKDRDP (India), IBEKA (Indonesia), iDE/Hydrologic (Cambodia) and Barefoot Power for its work in Africa.
