  1. Clemson Defense Handles Virginia Tech

  2. The Clemson defense is becoming must-see TV each and every week. They were at it again in Blacksburg on Saturday night, throwing a bunch of different looks at the Virginia Tech offense that had quarterback Josh Jackson and head coach Justin Fuente scrambling to adjust the Hokie offense.
  3. Tech had chances to swing the momentum inside Lane Stadium and make it a game, but the Clemson defense simply wasn't having it. The play of the game came early in the fourth quarter when Clemson's Dorian O'Daniel took the ball off a Virginia Tech player's back and rumbled 22 yards for a pick-six. The touchdown gave Clemson a 31-10 lead and essentially locked up the 31-17 win for the Tigers.
  4. Clemson LB Dorian O'Daniel Pick-Six Seals Win Over Virginia Tech
  5. O'Daniel finished the game with 10 tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery and a 22-yard interception return for a touchdown. He became the first Clemson player ever to return an interception for a score and record a sack, a fumble recovery and double-digit tackles in the same game. His monster game earned him ACC Linebacker of the Week honors.

  9. Miami Makes A Statement at Duke

  10. Due to the devastating weather that hit Florida in September, we haven't gotten to see as much of this dangerous Miami team as we would have hoped, but they let everyone know they're still the team to beat in the Coastal with their 31-6 win at Duke on Saturday.
  11. The Canes were clicking on all levels and got big performances from their best players. Malik Rosier completed 15 of 26 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns to go with 45 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground. Mark Walton went for 130 total yards and standout wide receiver Ahmmon Richards caught three passes for 106 yards and a touchdown in his season debut.
  12. Miami looks like a team destined for the top 10, but we'll get a much better idea of that when they take on rival Florida State in Tallahassee this weekend.

  14. FSU's Late Score Gives Noles First Win

  15. Wake Forest gave Florida State everything they could handle in Winston-Salem, but the Noles found the end zone late in the fourth quarter to pick up their first win of the season. Freshman quarterback James Blackmon struggled against the Deacs defense, but was able to connect with Auden Tate on a 40-yard touchdown with 53 seconds left to give FSu the 26-19 win.
  16. Jacques Patrick was the bright spot for FSU, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. Wake's freshman receiver Greg Dortch continued his stellar season, catching 10 passes for 110 yards.

  18. NC State's Early Offense Too Much For Syracuse

  19. NC State head coach Dave Doeren has been looking for his guys to start quicker in the last couple of weeks, and his team has answered the call. On Saturday, the Wolfpack scored on their first five possession to build a 26-7 lead going into halftime. Cuse cut the lead to 26-17 late in the third quarter, but NC State was too much and picked up the 33-25 win.
  20. Both teams saw stellar performances from some of their best players. NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb recorded eight tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks to earn his second straight ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week award. Syracuse wide receivers continue to be the talk of the program, as Ervin Philips set an ACC record with 17 catches (188 yards) to earn ACC Receiver of the Week honors .
