2012 National Conference on Education Highlights

The American Association of School Administrators held its 2012 National Conference on Education from February 16th through the 19th in Houston, Texas. The Conference Daily Online provided extensive coverage of the conference, here are the highlights.

  1. Day 1 - February 15, 2012
  2. AASA President Patricia Neudecker and her husband Curt take a moment to rest between her busy schedule over the next five days.

  5. Heath Morrison, superintendent, Washoe County School District¸ Reno, Nev.
  6. Lorraine Lange, superintendent, Roanoke County Public Schools, Roanoke, Va.
  7. Susan Smith Bunting, superintendent, Indian River School District, Selbyville, Del.
  8. AASA members will have a choice from among three veteran school system leaders when they vote for the next AASA president. Balloting in the 2012 election opens at 8 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Feb. 29, and continues until 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, April 6.
