Using Evidence: What Works?

On 12 April 2016 we launched the findings from the Science of Using Science project at the Wellcome Trust, London. The project was set up by the Alliance for Useful Evidence, with funding from the Wellcome Trust and the What Works Centre for Wellbeing, in partnership with the EPPI-Centre at UCL.

  1. The event was attended by over 120 delegates UK's evidence ecosystem for social policy (as well as visitors from Ghana, Zimbabwe and the US!)
  2. Jonathan Breckon, Head of the Alliance for Useful Evidence introduces the project The Science of Using Science
  3. The findings were presented by Professor David Gough and Laurenz Langer, from the EPPI-Centre research team.
